"Cereal: A Story" is a screenplay that follows the life of LI, a young East-Asian man in his mid to late 20s, who lives a solitary and routine life, symbolized by his daily consumption of cereal. The story contrasts LI's mundane existence with his rich inner world and dreams, where he envisions himself as a superhero, SUPER KID, embodying qualities he feels he lacks in real life.
