This short documentary piece, a collaboration between myself and my cousin Ziheng Zhou, who is part of the documentary crew at Chongqing Broadcasting Group, focuses on my grandparents. It’s a event where my grandpa cuts my grandma's hair, accompanied by their simple conversations. I chose to color grade the footage with a greenish tint, while preserving the original red of grandpa's jacket. This choice aims to underscore the vibrancy and liveliness found within the mundane aspects of life.
